One Sunday, I was sitting at the reception desk in a Real Estate office, the third job of the week that I took on to cover increased interest rates and petrol prices.  I was watching the happy people go by, on their way to the beach or the cafes, with their families, and I thought “What am I doing here?”  This wasn’t the life I had planned! 

I had thought my life was fulfilling. I was working in jobs that I loved, however, 1 job turned to 2, 2 jobs became 3, working 7 days per week just to make ends meet.  Before I knew it, I realized my well intended choices had led me to live a life I was beginning to resent.  My income was still not sufficient, I had sacrificed time with my family and friends and became exhausted.

I knew what I wanted.  I knew I wanted to work from home.  I knew I wanted more time with my family, I knew I wanted to feel less tired and grumpy ……..and I knew it was up to me to change my life.

My search for financial and time freedom led me to seek out my own business, where I can work from home, hours that I choose to work, with the opportunity for an income that previously had been beyond my wildest dreams.

I have now found that business. A business that is ethical and truly worthwhile, not only allowing me to achieve a lifestyle balance while creating financial freedom for myself and my family, but the opportunity to assist others achieve the same.
 

I started my working life at thirteen with an apprenticeship in hairdressing, in which field I stayed until my twenties.  I then went into the Navy, loved the lifestyle and travel opportunities, and stayed there for 21 years, leaving to be a ‘home dad’ with my youngest daughter for the first few years of her life.  From there I went to work in the marketing field, fortunate to spend time in the USA, developing the marketing strategies for an Australian company moving into that market.

I have been a student of personal development for most of my life, reaching a high level in Martial Arts over a 40 year period, also attaining the title of Reiki Master and now enjoying helping others through my role as a massage therapist.

Having just rolled over 62, I’m happy to say I’m semi retired, helping people develop their lives through this business, massaging, pottering in the garden, playing my shakuhachi and walking the dog – with 2 or 3 overseas trips per year, life is brilliant!
